What a great Lefever, no doubt destined for the pheasant fields, and should be perfect for that. Hard to believe sometimes that these old guns are 100+ years old and still doing there jobs.

I just recently got tuned in to the Lefever channel and really like what I've seen. That's a nice one Shawn. My first one was a 20ga. H grade and that did it for me. Love at first sight. Enjoy.

Unfortunately I was a Parker snob for many years turning my nose up to the Foxes, Lefevers and some of the English guns. Boy was I a dolt! The smallbore Foxes, Lefevers and one of my favorites, a 20ga Wm. Ford hammer gun, are as good as they get IMHO. Still love my Parkers though.

Shawn: the barrels are Damascus-Twist, also found on Baker B grades and an occasional Parker PH; these refinished by Brad Bachelder

The left barrel flats have an "end on" rod so you can see how the "lopin" was stacked

Nice gun congrats. IMHO the LeFever's are an underappreciated maker. I have a 16 and love it. Mine is 28 inch barrels choked IC/F. The left barrel will see some spreaders for grouse, woodcock and quail.
