Jack: IMHO the 20 bore is an earlier gun than the 12 and the 7/8 is what shot charge size it was proofed with. It is nitro proved of course and the markings "choke" just means it has some. The chamber length is probably 2 1/2" and you would have to measure the barrels to determine the chokes. The B proofs are , "provisional" and "final". If you don't have any luck in your search for info give me a PM and I will dig out my antique set of Burrard's books.
