I read it with my coffee this morning and agree completely. A wonderful bit of writing.

Default Accolades to our own- Sir Arthur

But in a way, not surprising- the late Wm. Harden Foster, who wrote "New England Grouse Shooting" many years gone now- was also a Parker man. I haven't hunted grouse in 30 years, am not a RGS member, but some of the most heart-tugging stories about a man's bond with his four legged best friend came from the grouse fraternity- Corey Ford's "The Road To Tinkhamtown" and of course stories by Burton Spiller and George Bird Evans as well-

Congratulations Art, and although I am not a RGS member and bonasa umbellas need not fear me each Fall, your fine piece of writing will endure for seasons to come.
