The stock pictures look dark. I have seen others post with before and after pictures of similar looking stocks that were simply cleaned of dirt and years of grunge that looked wonderful after cleaning.
I don't remember what was used to clean them, therefore I hesitate to give specifics about how it was done. Maybe someone with experience can speak up? Murphy's soap maybe??
