The below is posted in an effort to learn more . . .

I'm not saying the above linked Julia 16-ga. barrel set are not Galazan supplied barrels. But, Tom, Sam or others, how do you know they were supplied by Galazan and not Krieghoff or some other barrel maker? They obviously have been brought up to A-1 Special standards with engraving, gold band, rib inscription, engine turning of the flats, etc., -- that is to say any original identifying marks, i.e. rib matting or stampings could have been struck off, right?

Do we know definitively where CSMC (Galazan) sourced their 16-ga. barrel sets from? Were they made up in-house or did they come from Krieghoff, Merkel, or some other source?
