Seems a bit high to me. I would not pay that for it.

Notice I said $500 +/-. The forend looks nice with good checkering. If the stock is just as good, the bores are good, and it would clean up and one wanted a hammer rabbit or bird gun, then it may fit the bill for someone. I would not go that much for it either, but it depended upon what someone wanted. Checkering may be recut. Not the best job but better than being completely worn out.
