Hey Men ,, Thanks for all the help !!!! Trying to get my collection moved to my house from Dad's ,, need a $ estimate on all of em for insurance and got 34 guns priced ! If anybody can help me put a guesstimate on last 3 guns I would appreciate it. one is this old muzzel loader we been talkin about. 2nd is an Old LC Smith 2-holer with the curly lock hammers very good shape and I shoot it , And the 3rd is hardest, can't find any info on it ? It's a Browning Whitetail Commemorative #100 of 600 inlayed in Gold on reciever and still in it's custom Walnut Case. It was presented to my Father about 30 years ago.

I agree with Bill Murphy's estimate several posts ago on this thread, that $450 is probably tops.

Believe it. It is not a "Parker" ,but an imported farmers gun made in Belgium. Nice for the Fireplace etc.

I beleive it Ya'll , just wanted to know what to put on Insurance form ! I'll put approx. $400 ?

I dunno if I'd pay a monthly or quarterly premium on insuring it..... pretty soon you will have paid more in insurance premiums than the value of the gun....

Dean , I got 37 guns , I think ! LOL Greg, my insurance guy has added them to my homeowners insurance but sugested I list, describe, and appraise each one. Still need appraisal on LC Smith and Browning Whitetail Commemorative.

There is a ca 1840 English Parker percussion rifle in a museum near here. Fairly high quality gun. The English Parker gunmaker made some good guns in the early 19th century. There is no similarity among the English Parker SxS and a Parker Bros gun.

Likely William Parker, who was a gunmaker from 1790 until 1840 and one of the forerunners of Parker, Field & Sons. As Bro. Losey explained, proof marks would confirm the origin, although those were faked also
