Gun was made in 1885 top lever is correct most likely it is out of warranty. Who to send it for repair would help.

Where are you located, maybe one of the 'known' Parker gunsmiths are nearby? I would suggest you find and use someone who is familiar with Parker guns and Damascus barrels.
