Actually, I could easily get by with just one gun -- by taking my Sporting Clays Classic Repro -- my nominee for most versatile doublegun on the planet. However, I'm quite sure the two I am taking will be adequate, but thanks for the offer anyway.

You never know if that passel of guns you're hauling up will be enough either. So it's a good thing that Puglisi's is nearby, eh?

For the all gauge event, you forgot to pack the 28 ga AHE and the Fox 410...... You are starting to forget things, glad I'm here to remind you.

I buy-em to shoot-em. They all get used either on clays or behind the Labs although I have my favorites. Like Rich, I'll pack 8-10 guns to a shoot and if I'm shooting locally usually 2-3.
Just think how boring it would be if we all just brought just brought 1 gun to Hausmann's for 3 days of show and tell. Blah!

Daryl, I agree completely with both you Rich about bringing multiple guns to shoot, show and tell for 3 or 4 day shoots. However, Duluth is a little different as it's basically a one day of competition shoot. Shooters may get in a couple of side events on Friday and maybe on Sunday forenoon and that's about it. In addition, I'm travelling to the shoot with two others riding in a single SUV - not a pickup truck. We simply don't have room for each of us to bring a bunch guns and the various gauges of shells for those guns.

Having said the above, maybe I could ask my travelling companions to leave their guns and shells at home in order to allow more room for me to bring 8-10 guns. I could explain to them that Daryl and Rich shamed me into asking.
What do you think, you think that'll work?

Default Too many

Rich I'm proud of you but remember you gave up 2 guns to me and if I didn't live so far away you would probably swing down to Tx on your way to Duluth and borrow those 2. Lucky you didn't buy my 20 ga hammergun or look what else you would be hauling. I catch sooo much crap from my O/U dove buddies when I haul 6-8 guns on a three day shoot but they're just jealous because they can buy their shells at Walmart and I have to pack my especial shells. besides I view my guns like I have a kennel of dogs and by God they need to get exercise or why keep them kenneled up!!! Hell I'll take my own car if they complain too much. Good for you I salute the Muliigunner man.

Greg you can tell Len I said it was ok for you to bring 6 guns no more. If you can't use em don't get them. I'll be visiting a friend in Wisconsin for a week of grouse hunting and were talking guns already. So far I'm at 10 Bear in mind that when I leave there I go to my place in the U.P. for another 3 weeks or so. A grouse gun in the am and a different one in the afternoon, it's a rule at COB"S Camp

Greg;
We have to talk. Rich, Eric and I have perfected the multi-gun pack and ride. Stop in and see our set-up either at Ernie's or Drake Landing next year. I can comfortably pack 10-12 guns, 3 dogs with all their gear and two guys for a week long trip to SD to hunt birds and waterfowl.

You're gonna need a bigger truck.
