Calvin: I have used Michael on more than one occasion in the past and he has always done OK by me. Besides collecting doubles I have been building custom stocks [mostly rifles] for over 50 years and particulary like a "French Gray" finish on engraving to show the details. This is like the gray finish seen on some Brownings but is actually a pickeling process. He is the only one in this area that even knows what it is and how to do it. Lee.

What a guy. Spiffing up his shotgun for a wedding. Most people would just take any old shotgun to a wedding.

You have to hand it to those western Kansas boys they really know how to celebrate everything, at least he will be using a Parker I assume. As I remember my first wedding was attended by a Savage/Stevens .22/410 model 24. It's worth more than the wedding today. Have a nice day!. Lee.

I have that little gun (well, not that particular one). Used for rabbits, grouse, even a couple ducks and one crow. It hadn't seen the light of day for probably 20 years and I broke it out last fall, not for birds but to introduce CHARLIE to the "bang" before the Parker would be used for roosters. I did own the gun pre-wedding. I'd toss all my guns if need be to keep that gal. Fortunately, she understands the addiction.
Cheers,
Jack
