I don't know a lot about this stuff. I looked on the FAQ page before my first post. It says damascus can be safe but go see it gunsmith. Easier said then done. I have found that I know more about them then they do around here and that's scary! Fla not a good place for this hobby. I think the gunsmiths around here are members of the open range! The best info I have ever rec'd on Parkers in general, and barrels in particular is this site and forum. A detailed check compiled by the collective knowledge of you all would be extremely helpful for the uninformed (me
