the forend is simply a snap on - pull it away from the barrels by the front tip
once that is off- the top lever goes to the right (left hand on the barrels) and the barrels swing down - lift up on the back of the barrels and they will lift clear
be stingy with the oil and keep it off the wood
a question
if the stock is restored - why is it a wall hanger?
