keep in mind that if the pattern stock is not the original or at least known to be compatible with the action being fitted to it, then you run the chance of getting into trouble on it. Yes, there is that much variation from gun to gun.

Thank you very much for that information...I incorrectly assumed that Trojan 16 No. 1 frame metal would not vary much....this forum is a truly invaluable resource...
