My thought, nothing to support it, slamming a double shut when loading much more wear than firing a shell.

agreed - looked a a Daily 20 once a guy wanted to sell- lots of finish so I was thinking a good deal was coming

then i picked it up and heard it rattle- when I told him it was too loose and I wasn't interested he said its fine and closes tight-

then to show me - he picked the gun up with just a hand on the wrist and snapped the barrels upwards into battery- and said - hear how they ring

Bruce - great pair - memories like that are great - and a more iconic set of American hunting guns would be hard to find
