I got to see Roy and Trigger when I was a very small child, but I can't remember it at all now. My father told me I stood there with my mouth open looking at Trigger... I know I always wanted a set of pistols and belt like Roy had and one of his fancy shirts with the bandanna. He was a great man.

The real question is "How did the Roy Roger guns and hunting gear go at the auction out west this month?". The date slipped by me and I didn't buy anything. There were some great possibilities.

Perhaps this was brought up already, but Imus in the morning had a discussion with a Christies rep. She said the articles came from the Roy Rodgers museum in Branson , Mo. The museum as could not support it self in this economy. Roy, before he died, told the family if it became a liability to hang on to the memoribila after he died , to sell it off to his fans and don't let it be an anchor to the family. Sounds like the class act he really was. We could use integrity in the entertaintment business like that nowadays. Bless you Roy!
