Sounds very nice. Wouldn't that be nice at about 6lb., 12oz. on a 1-frame?

It was consigned to Fred Gilbert in 1896 possibly after he won the first "American E. C. Powder Company Trophy Emblematic of the World’s Championship at Inanimate Target Shooting" using a Smith, but he apparently didn't use it in competition until after the 1899 GAH. I've contacted David Trevallion for pics.
In the fall of 1901 he took delivery of his DH.

Default TPS-- Tango Papa Sierra

Hey, enuf with the insider alphas- I found out from Dean that TTT means: To The Top (of what? Old Smokey??) and NOT Two-Two-Train-- Let's not confuse either old Gyrenes or our new members (we have some, great--) with insider info- if TPS stands for "Tender Partridge Sandwiches" (cooked, no doubt, in some of Burton Spiller's Pa'tridge Shortenin') then let's say so- Wot In Hell is a TPS? I for one would like to know!!
