I reload 2 1/2" RST once-fired cheddites with 7/8 oz. shot. A very nice load - easy on me and easy on my Parker 16's.

Besides the RST's, I have cut down 500 Herters/cheddite hulls to 2 1/2". A lot of my friends shoot them and toss them, so I have plenty of them. Hardly ever load anything over 7/8 oz anymore. I use Universal and 7625 with the SG 16 wad for 7/8 oz. I have been shooting mostly 3/4 oz in the 16 at clays this winter and they work great. I have been using International and the DR16 wad for the 3/4 oz. Either load great for grouse and woodcock also, and had no problems with 7/8 loads of #6, or 7's on pointed pheasants.
