Default PARKER VH 410-Info & Opinions

Galazans just listed on Gunbroker a very nice VH 410 at what I believe a very good price ($21,995). GB #179010887.
It should find a home quite easily. What do you think??

Tony's pretty stingy with his pictures. It would be nice to see the grip, complete stock, forend, barrel flats, etc. he shows just enough to pique one's interest then the rest of the description is 'word of mouth'.

It looks like a great gun, way above the condition level and price I am seeking. I wonder how many brown VH grade 12 gauges Tony would require in trade? What do we think of the other VH .410 on gunbroker at $30,000? In another life, I was offered that gun for $2500 cash or suitable trade. I couldn't get together with the seller on the trade, as I remember by about $100. The gun looks the same as it did 40 years ago.

I'm asking for more pictures and would consider trading up if possible.

Hi Bob ,How have you been ? I took a look at Tonys 410 at 5:00 AM This morning ,really looks like a nice gun !I would have an interest myself if I had the spare cash laying around ,but that is a lot of spare cash ,to make it affordable for me ,I would have to trade off one or two of the guns I really like and I just hate to part with them ,I put it on my watch list ,just to see how long it would hang around ,and decided " DONT LOOK BACK " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you decide to buy it ,It would be great to get a first hand look at the Greensburg show coming in the early Fall ! Russ

Like every other VH .410 offered for sale at less-than-mint condition nowadays, the only thing wrong with this gun is that it's overpriced by about $12K. MY GOD, come to your senses! Using the paradigm model that my GHE .410 went through in price as it changed hands 4 times in 6 months after I sold it, you should be able to buy this little VH by the Vintagers for about $80K. What does it all mean? Where are the value police? No wonder I'm now collecting pre-War Auto-5s!!!

If it had ejectors I would cry....Its not way over priced and most likely will be sold. Tony or it would be Lou may deal if it sites a little while. He did on the 410 repro I perchased. I have seen one other nice VH sold G-Broker two years back at 14K+ I had that gun in my hand at 16K but passed due to sticker shock and poor judgement...It had been perfectly restocked, the owner told me, you could not tell! It was not listed that way when sold by a locale shop. Im sure the buyer does not know. Again it was a perfect job,on a sweet little gun! One day I will have a original Parker 410 to go with my 410 DHE repro's...(-: Thanks all Kenny Graft SXS ohio...

Default A "paradigm model" ??

Wow- I've heard about some good guns selling and re-selling but this is a whole 'nother ballgame- where I live and mess with lower graded 12 doubles- a paradigm is worth maybe twenty cents on the dollar- whereas a paraquarter is worth maybe fifty cents on that self-same dollar- Go figure, ey??
