David,
I was bidding on a 16 gauge roll crimper on ebay several months ago. I would have been very disappointed to have found it a 14 gauge, though I would think it is a rare find and worth more than you paid.

Was it the one that wasn't listed as 16ga, but you could read it on the tag in the picture?
