Not all the time, but usually Rem primers have less pressure than others. Win, Cheddite, Rio, etc are all the same and are what could be called normal. Fed and CCI209M are hotter primers. I use Cheddite primers and GD in my 10ga with no problem. Looking at my IMR reloading manual they usually go down a grain in powder if using a Fed primer instead of a Win primer, everything else being the same.
