A custom gun with the top tang screw that buggered up. If that's a premium Parker I'll kiss your Mossberg

Here is another one that is a bit of a stretch, a "rare" Parker Brothers "CH". Possibly renewed? (including the serial number).

That gun that Bob Brown has linked here has a couple of 'warts' but has a LOT of appealing features - like a Miller selective trigger, ejectors, an original ventilated rib, and a screaming piece of wood. It would take a bit of work and a couple of $K but it could be made into a really nice gun.... although it will never be a "C".
The original barrels were 30" Damascus so the 'donor' barrels must have come from a vent-rib gun with 28" F/F chokes.... if we can believe the description's accuracy on the chokes. Is that Claro or some really nice Circassian? .

It isnt even a C grade gun. G grade. And wasnt originally a straight grip gun. Another one who couldnt get the proper guard when doing a SG conversion. And i see someone else likes to blue their Parker top levers too.
At least the asking price isnt too far out of line for what the gun is.

When I posted the link to the GH that was called a CH I thought the serial number had been altered. Does that look like the original serial number? I'll give them a call tomorrow and ask for a picture of the serial number on the frame and barrel flats.
