I have some 2 1/2" brass shells on the way from Track of the Wolf. I had been meaning to get some in 12 gauge and this was a good reason. I'll take it easy with 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 drams of black powder with 7/8 oz. of shot.

I also ordered some of RST's Ultra Lite 2 1/2" 3/4oz. 1125fps. shells(which are at 4300psi), again to keep thing on light side. The more I checked out this gun and compared it to my other lifters the "looseness" of a modern plastic shells doesn't seem too out of the ordinary. I think when I first saw the barrels I assumed they had been drastically polished/honed out, but I don't think that is the case any more.
