A friend who shall remain nameless (Jim Bowers) puts snow tires on his Boxter every winter. It is his daily driver.
Personally, I prefer a rear wheel drive or an all wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Front wheel drive on snow seems to get me in trouble more often than I like.
