The steaks and rolled roasts from my daughters Montana mule deer were as good as venison gets! Our family eats mostly game and very little beef and all love venison. Tonight it was elk chili - must be in a run, same thing as last night.

That is a nice buck you got with that fancy lever action rifle. I guess it shoots that newfangled smokeless powder too? Also a nice setup you have to hang them up but how did that deer squeeze his head under the door?

Had some luck myself last Saturday but I don't have much modern equipment.
