With Parkers, the lever location means little. The lever was set at the factory and where it sits is where it sits. And levers on parkers cannot move very far before the lever stops out and the breech is just plain loose.
The concave dish in the rib carried over the frame and into the lever. So, that dish will line up with the rib and frame regardless of lever position.
If the gun is tight, dont worry about it.
