Charlie in the areas I have been to in AZ as well as from what I have observed in the nestlings around the house dove seem to be doing well. There are a good number of Whitewings but they usually head further south by September 1.
I was fortunate to get an invite to hunt Eurasian doves yesterday on private property. There was no shortage of birds. It was a FOX day with 4 of us bringing a Fox to shoot. ( I was given a special waiver LOL to also shoot a few boxes of shells through my LCS Crown 20 gauge that I recently had sleeved and a Charles Lancaster under lever 12 hammer gun.
