The refinish itself will not make the barrels thinner. If the barrels need a heavy polishing, that would remove some metal. If the barrels are fairly good on the exterior, a light polish may clean them up pretty well, without taking a noticeable amount of metal away.
LOL okay, I am going to step out on a limb here and assume you are the Craig Smith of Circle Fly, and the guy I am going to be having refinish my barrels
