With any old gun make sure that it is safe before you use it. When in doubt contact a qualified SXS gunsmith to inspect it. As for ammo for an old 10, RST makes 10 gauge shells that are suitable. Ballistic Products has several loads listed in their manual that i use. A 10 is fun to shoot!
