Travis, that gun was not lacking in glory!
It turns out the right lock problem will be an easy fix. At some point in time the tumbler was replaced and was never completely timed. The hammer was actually striking the firing pin, as I found out by a blood blister to my finger when I used it as a snap cap!😵
A bit of attention to the stock, a little cleaning and some easy smith work will put this ole 10 back up to snuff.
It was indeed a pleasure to meet you and I'm really glad the gun is going home with me. I wish we had had more time to visit but we were both pretty busy with the show.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I get a chance.
