I had a great time ! Weather could not have been better and the course was in perfect conditon. Vendor turn out is not the same as the Spring Southern, I still came home with a new gun.

Its worth the trip to see the Parker Club members in person great bunch of guys. One went out of his way to help with a mechanical issue, not only fixed it showed me how to fix ejector problems so I can do it myself in the future.

I was able to get a Hosford Wall Thickness gauge for a great price from Dave Kerr.

I thought Jerry might have sold that AH at Rock Mountain - the engraving is spectacular!

David, please let me know where to send the cookies.

It was a great shoot. Rick and the staff at Backwoods always does a wonderful job. Lauren (very nice young lady who works up front) is a hard working person who knows how to get the job done.

Dave Leemon set some good targets. The small bore course was set separate from the big bore events.

They set up a really cool flurry event (per the Vintager guys) that was awesome. It got some really good attention from those guys and gals on Saturday. (thank you guys for having the idea to do it)

Cant wait til next year.

Several Parker members shoot very well and brought home some awards: David Dwyer, Brian Brady, Carl Brandt, and Dave Fjelline.
Brian won the hammerless main with his 32" GH dam 2, and Dave Fjelline won the hammer main runner up with his 34" D grade.
Brian also won the 410 event with his grandfathers original VHE. (he kicked but with that gun. shoot a high score on a tough 410 course).
Also Benjamin Hall was our junior shooter and shoot very well in many events.

As a Smith guy the greatest moment for me this weekend was seeing Dave Fjelline on the line for the Challenge. What a great guy who has over come so much, to see him back on top is awesome! And to think how I piss and moan about every little thing. He knows how to over come! And should be an inspiration to us all.

I took notice of the 'visual aids' attached to Dave's barrel in one of the pictures Mills posted over on the "Official" thread. I'd like to see better pictures and to know just how he uses it all. He may be a perfect candidate for a sinestral stock.

Dean
He tried one ,then designed the offset sights he now uses. He is shooting as well with the loss of his dominate eye as he ever did with both. He is one amazing man and I am privileged to have him as a friend.
