What was so special about #3445? Was it in extremely high condition? The 10 ga hammer gun with two sets of bbls was a steal.

Rich, 3445 was a grade 3, I looked it up and also was fairly high condition

Hmm; I had a whole post that disappeared... The Repro20 is a 2-bbl set so makes some sense... I guess. The B grade is a bad refinish with an oddly pinned and sanded stock and a blued receiver and seemed pretty worn prior to refinish.. too bad.. still worth more than the hammer price. The G grade was the steal of the bunch at $862. Nice gun and seemingly unmollested. The Repro28 is baffling in the extreme.. single trigger no less. guess I should start being nicer to mine! The hammer gun with 2bbls.... someone did good on that one I'd say. The last V grade listed is a Trojan. As for 3445... see pics. THIS they call a grade 1??? Who does the descriptions? Milky the Clown??? Who? I'd have gleefully paid the hammer price for this gun. What a beauty! How often is a hammer screw that well regulated? The only visible wear is on the lifter. The stock teardrop looks like it's never had a grubby thumb wrapped around it.

It was a grade 3 not a grade 1 AND it was a steal. What a nice gun. So many guns so few dollars

Roger that Rich. I've been hankering for a nice 12ga lifter and would have been all over that one for that price... or a fair bit more. That gun would end just about anyones search for a nice lifter....

Francis: No, I wasn't there but I had the printed catalogues. The prices that I quoted reflected the 15% vig. I'll check my messages & get back to you.
