In short, no. I have shot both factory and reloaded Bismuth shells through a variety of Parker's and some other classic doubles, both fluid and composite barrels, for 20 years without issue. Most of the guns are fowler's with tight chokes. I hunt geese and have used/use BB, 1's and 2's, again with no issue. I really like the way 1 1/4 ounce of 1's performs on decoying Canada's. If you are reloading and the stated pressure is 7700 psi for Bismuth shoot it with confidence regardless of shot size.
