Beautiful gun and dog Mike. E.M.T. gel.... A must for any dog owner whether you hunt them or not.
6-7 years ago I was hunting my Lab and noticed he too was covered in blood along his left flank. Looks like he had an encounter with some hidden barb wire and he had a 3" gash on his left flank. After dousing him with hydrogen peroxide to clean up the wound , I applied the gel to the wound and kenneled him for the remainder of the day. By the next morning the wound was healed enough to allow him to hunt full bore the rest of the trip. My hunting partner, who is a veterinarian, was amazed at how well it worked.
