Default Marked Weight of #2 Frame Barrels

What weight marking is considered "heavy" on #2 frame barrels. I have a set of 32" marked 4-8. This gun is a nine pounder with beavertail. What weights do some of you have marked on your #2 frame guns?

Titanic 30" 2-frame 4 lbs. 3oz.

My 30" Damascus barrels for the same gun are at Bachelder's and are considerably lighter but I don't remember their weight.

Bill, I checked two 32" guns both vent rib a DHE and a VHE.They weighed 4.3 lbs and 4.2 lbs.And those are 1 1/2 frame guns. Also two 30" damascus guns on 2 frames are a DH 4.7 lbs and a BH 4.12 lbs. Don,t know if this is of any help.

30" 12ga #2 frames; 1- VH vulcan, 4/3; 2- GH dam, 4/4; 3- DH dam, 4/7; 4- Trojan, 4/3. The DH is the finished heaviest of the four and choked the tightest.
