Typically all factory Cutt's guns did not have the choke stamped on the barrel. I have seen this on model 12's, 42's and Remington 31's. If you have a model 12 or 42 they are quite desirable in that configuration.

I have a M12 , two barrel, solid rib, 30" full and 26" with a Cutts. All serial numbers match and it is a blast to shoot the 26" barrels with the Cutts. There's just something about how the M12 points and handles.
