This topic will be a source of confusion (hopefully for many generations) but it begs the question "who cares what the raw, unfinished, un-chambered, un-bored and choked weight is?" I'm not suggesting I disagree with the generally accepted meaning of the stamping but I question whether it means as much as the weight of the finished barrels and fore end.
