Anthony, it is a PH with Twist Steel barrels which is a kind of Damascus however it is manufactured a bit differently... suffice to say "composit" rather than true Damascus. The book says it is a 16 ga. with 26" barrels and a capped pistol grip. If you know as a fact that it is a 20 ga. then I guess the book is wrong, but a research letter would say for sure. What is it's condition? Pictures?

That's a question that can't be answered without examining the barrels. A lot of us shoot guns considerably older than yours but the barrels are sound and we shoot only low pressure loads that are very much like the loads the guns were designed for. Where are you? Maybe we can direct you to someone in your area who can evaluate your the condition of your gun.
