My first 16 ga. hammer gun was a lifter, and I have had four top levers. All of them were 0 frame guns. I have only parted with one. I have never seen a gun made as a sixteen only, that was anything but an 0 frame. While it may be true that hammerless 16s are more commonly 1 frame, I'm confident in saying the reverse is true in hammer guns. I'm sure there were 1 frame sixteens, but I've never seen one.
I have two 26" hammer sixteens and one 30". I prefer them over any other guns thought to more suitable for sporting clays. They are lighter, but not whippy. The 30" has been expertly restocked by Chris Dawe to dimensions I provided, and is an absolute joy to shoot.

I'm sorta kinda tryng to get 10's , 12's and 16's for hammer and hammerless .

I've got the 10's covered although I'd like to get an EH #3 32" to match my hammer gun . And I'm thinking a top lever #2 12 gauge with 32" pipes . The 16 idea just came to me in the last couple days . Already have a semi decent GH 16 thats IC/LM but I would rather have a VH or GH with 28"or 30" M&F and of course a hammer gun to match .
