As any waterfowler will attest to they probably have at least 6, maybe more calls. I started with Ken Martins in the mid to late 60's and still find them to be one of the finest, easiest to master calls out there. Then one day I met this guy named Sean Mann at my local gun club. He had a little table set up and was blowing his "new" Shoreman call. I'm not that easily impressed with things like that but after trying that call I ordered one on the spot in the fancy wood I had never heard of..... cocobola. Well that was 1990 or so and it has been my go to call since. I never cared for the Super Shorty but it is a fine call. I just use my Martins when I want a softer, close in finisher call. I am surprised you are having a problem with your Shoreman. Maybe we can meet up at a local shoot or someplace like Hausmann's to figure it out.
