Default Not a 34"

Well I didn't have much luck finding a 34" Parker 12 gauge I could afford . But I did walk into a VH 32" on a #2 frame with a straight grip stock choked full and full . Should be to me some time next week !

That's a solid gun, I shot the DHE version of that for years on ducks.

Now I've got the DHE version with 34 inch barrels on a #3 frame.

She's with Brian at the moment, I'm missing my girlfriend badly already.

I thought this thing would work well for the side by side event at the state trap shoot this year .

Well provided the gun semi fits me

I've got a VHE with 32" barrels. I shoot it reasonably well at Sporting Clays, even with it's Full and Fuller than Full chokes. I've found that RST 2 1/2 light loads seem to pattern well. That may help with a starting point for you. If I tell you that I'm contemplating getting the chokes opened up a bit, that will get some forum members crazy. Oops, I think I just did.

My 32" twist F/F+ hammer gun will break clays and kill ducks so far out you need over the horizon radar to track the target....

Recently I have been shooting my 30 inch V with full and fuller at clays. I have to shoot it a bit before I get on to it as it has 3" drop. However, once comfortable with it, boy is it fun to watch clays vaporize. It will really reach out and touch 'em - hard. A blast!

Gary, I know what you mean about vaporizing targets. I shot clays just Wednesday with the VHE and after a couple of targets, the squad was giving out "Holy C..." and "Goodness" comments.

I have a VHE 30" #1 and a VH 30" #2 and they're both like what you have . I used the VH in the side by side event at the state trap shoot last year . But I'm so used to floating the bird with an O/U or Un Single that I'd shoot right under them if I didn't think about what I was doing .

Bought a Parker VH 12 gauge on a #2 frame with 32" full and full choked barrels . Gun has an english style straight grip and the wrists been pinned twice . But this thing outta be okay for the side by side event in the VA State Trap shoot this year !

As you can see these are GB pics , hopefully the gun will be in hand next week and I can take pics of my own .
