I have read that there were around 1400 of these guns made the one I have has the 1890 patent date on it and is in the low 10xx and the company went out of business in 1901. I found this in a Cabelas store in SD. I feel that I got very good buy. Can any body guess on how many shootable guns survived ? Not many. I hope to work up some smokless brass loads for it.
