Fair question, Counselor. When we formulated the rules for the FPC we figured it was best to utilize the "KISS" method and mimic the guidelines already in place for the Smith/Parker event. So that begs the question, why are they prohibited from that contest? (Maybe that's what you're asking?) Is it the fact they are not a direct descendant from the Meriden/Ilion guns in serialization, unlike the CSMC Foxes? Perhaps a failure to meet "Made in USA" requirements or is there an age limit, i.e. guns must be pre-1942 (or whatever) production??? I can certainly understand that, based on the fact The Challenge was conceived as a vintage shooting contest. Please enlighten me, Great One.
