Thanks to everyone for the info. The DGJ article "Parkers At The End Of The Rainbow" by Daniel Cote with photos by Terry Allen and Captions by Herschel Chadick in their Autumn 2007 issue is something every Parker lover should see. The Parkers are A-1's in every gauge and some fabulous gun they are and at one time a limited number of movies of the meeting where the guns were photographed was made available to DGJ subscribers. If we could make that sort of thing available to our members, I'm sure many would want a copy. To see these guns really does back up the claim that there are some grade 8's that could rival the Invincibles.
I have the Shooting Sportsman with the 233565 article and the DGJ with the grade 8 article mentioned above and will be happy to make them available if we could find a way to share the information. Maybe we could find a copy of the movie. Great stuff. I spoke with Shooting sgust |

I spoke with Shooting Sportsman and they did not seem to have a problem with us making copies for our members but I am still trying to find a back issue copy. Compiling some of the great articles like those and others and some history documentation of some of the great guns and their owners would take some space but it would make a great addition to any collectors library. Would any of our members who have the expertise and know how want to jump in lead a project? I would love to see it but do you think many others would want a copy of such an item?

I would like to have any info on the invincibles. Like Robin, I have been fascinated by them since since reading Peter johnsons book. This thread has revealed some things that adds to their mystique. I wonder if it's possible to trace their entire ownership?

If I owned 200,000, I would install a Pachmayr White Line pad to bring it back to original. Two of the previous owners of 200,000 were trapshooters. What do you expect? The full story is in the works, I think.

Bill, how many co-authors will be involved in the "full story"? If not 'several' working together, much like the authors of TPS, then it probably won't be the "full story".

...putting a recoil pad on an Invincible is like putting a CB radio in a Deusenberg. It just ain't right. Parker never shoulda done it.
