I went back, read your original post and realize that you were talking of the short 10. I had it in my mind you were talking 2 1/2" -12 ga.

Not a problem ! If I were able I wouldn't mind 2 1/2" 800's fir the 12,16,20 myself !

I solve that problem by just using 2 3/4" shells in my 2 1/2" guns. By the way, I have been using P-W loaders since the first year they made them. I am still loading on my original 800Bs.

Just as an example, my AA 12s are about 2 5/8", my Top Gun 20s are about 2 5/8", my Gun Club 12s are about 2 5/8". Parker Brothers and others recommended 2 5/8" shells in 2 1/2" chambers. I think I will stick with my standard loaders.
