I'm glad it worked out well for you in the end. I know it's been discussed over and over here and there are horror stories for each of the major shipping outlets but I've had the best luck shipping UPS second day air. I do not ship over the weekend as I don't want that package sitting anywhere and I want signatures all along the way. I just had a gun picked up in Texas at noon on Tuesday and it arrived at my FFL today at noon. The key is making sure it moves quickly and anyone who touches it has to sign his/her name. Maybe I've just been lucky but that's what has worked for me.
