28 Ga chokes that are as tight as .015 & .035 are for Pheasants and Doves/Pigeons. That probably is the limit of their effective hunting usefulness. Even then, ranges need to be limited/managed. The tighter chokes compensate for the lower pellet count. You either hit them hard or miss completely. I've opened mine to Light Mod. and Improved Mod. which do the job well on many species. In fact, that combination is my favorite for all the gauges.
