Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

I wonder if e shot is ok for Damascus?
I've done all I'm going to do to accommodate steel. I have a G and a D 12, a D 10 with cylinder and cylinder sleeves. Fast steel works great in all of them. Lead works in the guns with 30 and 32 inch barrels. The 28 inch one patterns too loose so I put in thin wall Briley chokes.
I'm not touching any of my other guns and I can only hope I don't have to pay a fortune for some space age alloy to shoot them. Hunting, OK, but I resist having to do it for sporting clays.
What all states should contemplate is exempting historic guns from having to use non toxic shot much like classic cars are exempted from smog devices. I'm the only guy in my duck club that shoots a side by side. Everyone else shoots a auto. Our percentage is pretty minimal. The environment could tolerate us.
