Well I put together a deal on the gun today, and brought it home. Actually nicer then I remembered the other day. I will try to post some pictures once I take a few and figure out to post them. I will get a letter on order right away. Did not get a lot of history, but was told that years ago the guy I bought it from received it from his dad. His father had gotten the gun when his father was getting up in years and wanted to clean out a bunch of stuff he had stored in a building. He told his kids to go through the stuff he had stored and take what they wanted before he got rid of everything. The Parker although taken by one son was never shot and stayed in storage for two more generations. Best I can tell the gun has been stored for about 50 to 60 years. Not sure about the first half of its life but clearly was not used a lot and was cared for. 30" barrels choked extra full / extra full from what I can tell. May have a story or two if it could talk. It has been a real Parker week, as I also bought a 20 gauge Trojan that is in excellent condition.
Seems like a lot of nice stuff coming out of the closets here in the West.
