I agree: Sure, a 28 Ga 28" DHE original would be nice, but it just won't happen, and in fact, I've not seen one. I love my reproduction and couldn't possibly afford an original.
Besides, as time goes by, even the repro's are getting to be "old."
I shoot it, lovingly clean it each time, and watch the case colors fade, and who knows; maybe if I hit the lottery, I will get it colored by Turnbulls. But for now, at the tender age of 73, I will just shoot it until I die and the wife sells all the guns so she can travel.
