Fairfax is out of my quadrant too... and we didn't find the museum to be crowded at all, even with the 30+ PGCA members who took advantage of the museum tour conducted by Phil Schreier.

I haven't had an accident in my car in forty years. However, in the past two years, I have been "hit" twice in the last two years on Route 66, the road that goes past the National Firearms Museum. Travelling from my house to NRA or the Chantilly Gun Show has turned into quite an adventure. George, can't wait to see your pictures. It was nice to share a table with you and the NRA curators.

I remember when Tysons Corner was a meat locker. Made a NIKE missile silo a club house. Watched Fairfax become part of the megalopolis. I knew all those country roads. Used to go to the turkey shoots at Meadow's on Rt. 7. Now I can't find my daughter's town house in Ashburn. Too many highways and fly ways!
Seriously, my wife and I really wanted to be there but we knew we were going to have the grandchildren that weekend.
